So I have a Tempur-Pedic mattress. One of the original ones I think I got it in 2000. It is starting to get a slight dip in it. Yes I know it is old and past its life expectancy but it is still comfortable and only has a slight sag. So bought this memory foam topper to place on top of my mattress. As a temporary fix until I can make up my mind what type of bed I want next.
Over all it is working however it is extremely soft and not as firm as my tempur pedic mattress. You really sink into this memory foam topper more so then I really like. It also shifts every night so every morning I have to move 3 inches back to center of the bed. This is rather annoying.
Would I buy it again not as a bed topper as a camping bed probably but it is annoying to have to reposition it on top of mattress every morning.

I really think this thing has saved my back. I bought a new mattress recently (a popular Z brand on this site) and it was hard as a rock and I’ve been waking up with back pain for the last week. I was torn on buying this one because of some mixed reviews, but the price was great so I figured it was at least worth a shot.
It was a little tricky to get the topper out of the bag, but once I got it out and unfolded and unrolled it it did not take long at all to puff up. It was actually kind of cool to watch it go from flat and squished to super soft and puffy. It definitely is a true memory foam, and the material is very soft while still providing some support. A lot of reviews mentioned a weird smell, but I have a very sensitive nose and didn’t notice anything unpleasant at all, just a very faint plastic smell that went away as soon as the topper totally expanded, and I think that smell was just from the plastic wrapping. I’ve been sleeping on it every night for a few days and don’t smell anything at all.
The five stars is because this topper has made my mattress 100x more comfortable. It gives just enough softness and give to help with my back and hip pain, but isn’t so squishy that it is hard to get up from. I got the 2 inch size and I think that was the perfect size for me. I don’t know about the cooling factor – i haven’t noticed any real difference, but it also doesn’t make me warm while sleeping either.
The only downside I can think of is that some of the very small blue dots in the foam material can rub off if you rub the foam firmly. I could see this being annoying over time, but I think as long as you are careful while changing the sheets that shouldn’t be an issue.
Over all I am very very happy with this mattress topper!

I swear I feel much cooler on my mattress now and very comfortable. I used to have a 3 inch foam topper, but I’ve read that can be too much softness. Got the 2-in this time and it’s working great.

This mattress topper is so soft and squishy, I love it! I used to wake up in pain from my hip joints every morning, and since I put this topper on my mattress, I have had no hip joint pain from sleeping. It doesn’t hold heat, so I don’t get overheated. I am so happy with it that I am purchasing one for every bed in the house.

I bought this to use on top of my futon in my living room. My upstairs gets too hot so I needed something cooling and soft. Only complaint is it sheds and that doesn’t seem too safe. I would not use at all without a sheet or protection. Expanded very quickly

I work night shifts and the nights that I actually get some sleep I wake up the next morning with back pain and soreness like stiff as a board, so after complaining enough times my bf told me to get a mattress topper so I did some research and landed on this one and it’s incredible. Feels like sleeping on a cloud, easy to put my sheets right on top of it. Easy to transport just roll it and I keep it in my car. It’s perfect not sure about how long it will hold up I just got it and have only slept on it twice but I love it and am so glad I bought it. Really good for the price too!
