SUPER EXTRA MAX FIRM! Actually too firm for my husband and I, but that’s a preference, not necessarily a flaw. I think if we each weighed more, it would be great. But unlike any other firm topper I’ve used, this one is super-duper firm. We’re returning it because I’m actually waking up with arm pain as a side sleeper, but again, I think if we weighed at least 170 (which we don’t) it might be perfect. So if you want seriously massively firm, this is that. And I imagine there are a lot of people unable to find one firm enough, in which case, here ya go.

I chose this topper because it was a two in one, firm on one side, extra firm on the other. I started out on the extra firm side, after about two weeks, I turned it over to the firm side. Either side is great! Definitely worth the money. My mattress was only a year old, but it was a little too soft, which my old mattress was way too firm so at first it was OK but then my back started hurting and I thought OK. I’m going to get one of these and I’m so glad I purchased this topper. Packaged nicely, very sturdy. Have had a fusion, side sleeper, 63. Friend of mine said Wow!! Not only is your bed like 18 inches tall it’s fabulous! I said yeah I know, right 😂😁😂😁

Great thick cover. We unrolled it for about a day after we got it, and put it on the bed that same night. It didn’t have a bad smell and it plumped up to size very quick. It fits our bed well, and it’s easy to put on and get the sheet over. Great support for my husband who’s had two back surgeries. Recommend!

I’ve researched every mattress topper that Amazon sells and read almost every review and couldn’t be happier with our selection of this 3” extra firm mattress topper!
We have a 14” all foam mattress that is of excellent quality. The mattress is between a the medium firm and a firm and leans more to the firm side I started waking up with some hip pain. I also use a very firm knee pillow. At Costco saw a Tempur-Pedic soft mattress topper and used it for 5 months before returning to Costco because the foam developed deep cracks in it. My entire body hurt so bad every morning upon waking up because that topper was way too soft.
You need a true firm mattress or topper to get the proper body support. I weigh 150 lbs. and my wife weighs 105 lbs. This extra firm topper is perfect for our body sizes. Extra firm is a misnomer as it’s a true firm topper. It’s not squishy soft though you can pinch the foam between two fingers, but when you lie on it you really feel the firmness while it molds to your body. It’s firm and supportive and your body fits perfectly on this topper while feeling the support this topper provides. Granted, we have a good mattress as a base with no sags or indentations.
It needs to de-gas for 3-4 days and during that time the topper firms up quite a bit. The gassed released is not offensive but it is chemicals you are smelling and probably shouldn’t be breathing them 8 hours every night for the first 3-4 days.
We have a queen topper and it is tad wider on the sides than our queen mattress, but that’s a plus as the topper provides excellent edge support while lying or sitting on the edge of the bed. I like that it’s a tad oversized on the sides only.
I would have preferred the 4” topper so that the support lasts longer over time, but needed to make sure our deep pocket waterproof mattress cover and sheets fit over our 14” mattress and the 3” mattress topper securely.
I would purchase this topper again in a heartbeat and I’m really picky. We have another queen mattress in the house with a 12” depth and would get the 4” topper because I know it will fit nicely with our deep pocket mattress cover and sheets.
I cannot wait to go to sleep at night as I know I won’t move at all and it’ll feel so comfortable and supportive. I get up once during the night for the bathroom and fall back to sleep immediately upon returning to bed.
I wake up in the morning feeling more refreshed and much, MUCH less body aches and I know that attributes to the support of this mattress topper.
Get this topper and you will not regret it and you’ll thank me for a truly honest opinion and as a verifiable buyer who doesn’t get paid for reviews. I enjoy sharing great finds to others who I know will enjoy the product as much as I do.
I’m happy as hell that this topper exceeded all of my expectations as I dreaded the thought of having to try and return it. In fact, I threw the box away that it came in because I’m so happy with the topper!

Was not as firm as I was expecting but the quality of my queen sized topper was great. The straps on the four corners help to hold it in place on top of my mattress. The cover that comes on it fits well. It is a full sized, zippered cover.
I saw a lot of reviews and photos that made this item not look great. Mine is great.

I was a little nervous to order this from some of the reviews about the size being off and strong odor. I have to say this was perfect in size and firmness. I sleep much better now and my lower back is no longer hurting when I wake up in the morning. This saved me from having to shell out for a new mattress. Highly recommended.

I decided to wait a few days to actually sleep on the topper for honest, informative review. After 2 weeks of use I can say I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I am one female, 5’4 & 155 lbs. I slept the Left side, then right side & in this short amount of time the topper has begun “lumping up” is the way I describe. It’s firm as described but it’s seems the inner material feels like a torn or shredded firm cardboard box lumping up. Not a comfortable feel conducive to sleep. Can’t pack to return so just disappointed.
UPDATE: THE SELLER OFFERED A PARTIAL REFUND in good faith which I accepted. After communication back & forth and re-checking reviews, I believe I happened to have received a defective one out of the ordinary. I may order another later as it truly was extra firm AS ADVERTISED and no issue with size or odor.
