It looks nice and was definitely easy to assemble. However, the drawers stay closed by a partially unscrewed bolt hanging from a hold they drilled in the side of the frame. Meaning you have to unhook each drawer to pull it out and in order to keep from hitting your body on the drawers you must also hang your drawers back up when you’re done. The top shelf I had hoped would have room for a reading lamp etc. However, the depth is about an inch shorter than that of a normal coaster. I can fit my phone sideways up there which in turn isn’t very useful. I will admit though it is not squeaky at all. This is as noiseless of a steel bedframe I have ever had. It does the job and looks nice hence the three stars.

Great Value, Look, and Function. The metal frame is black in color, the fabric headboard is the perfect shade of Grey, and the and the wood looks solid and real; and, matches the wood color/grain of several dressers, night stands, and furniture here on Amazon no matter the brand. Easy assembly for a DIY person. Sturdy enough for most people. Exactly what I was looking for as a very skilled and creative handy person. This is perfect for a Cal King 14 inch high hybrid (spring and memory foam) Mattress, which is designed to be on a flat platform with no box spring. This frame was good out of the box. The drawers underneath are great and make for easy cleaning/vacuuming underneath the bed. But the frame can be even better with some modification from the original slat design. I installed 1/2 inch plywood (with sanded, rounded corners, and recessed screws) to the metal frame and added braces and feet from the big box store and here on Amazon. It was sturdy before, but now even better. Highly recommend this bed frame for anyone. The best feature is that this bed frame is bigger than the mattress. The baseboard does sit right on the floor, but I have not hit a toe into it yet.

Looks good, is solid. Creaking got really bad a month or two after assembly. The drawers kind of suck, I wouldn’t buy it for those. Wheels fall off and the “latch” mechanism (if you could call it that… it’s just a screw you put in the wood face panel that goes into a key hole on the frame) doesn’t work well. The screws have fallen out on their own a couple of times.
Besides that it’s a good frame. The shelf is really handy and so are the outlets. Overall not bad for what you’re paying imo.

Love this bed frame!! It was really easy to put together because the instructions were so clear! Whoever designed the part labeling and instructions should do it for everything! Love the outlets on top of the bed and love the drawers! I was not looking forward to assembling the drawers, but they were actually really easy and a great design! I want to buy another one for my son’s room now! We are still in the process off finishing our room but I attached a photo of the assembled bed!
