This is a great buy for the money. Some reviews mention how the holes don’t line up and how the frame itself is damaged or painted on the cheap, and I did not experience that AT ALL. The holes won’t line up if you don’t line up the right hole to it’s match, which I did at first. But then if you twist the pole around, you’ll find that there IS a match and you’re probably more tired than you think you are. Which is parenthood. Until you die. Such is life.
Anyway. The frame isn’t painted, but it seems that it’s manufactured in the color that you choose. So it’s really great quality.
One review mentioned how it’s lower than expected. The trick to that is that it’s an adjustable frame, with TWO height choices. I met for the lower one for my toddler, and will raise it as my toddler grows. I found that feature quite pleasingly. Again. Parenthood. It’s the little things.
Overall, it’s a great buy. I would possibly suggest using a piece of flat board or something to give the mattress something to rest on, and would probably make it more comfortable for the older kid sleeper so they wouldn’t feel the support rods underneath. But even without that, it’s still a great buy.

We are transitioning our 18mo old to her 1st big girl bed, and did not want to buy a toddler bed, just to have to buy a twin again later. I love that this has 2 heights; so we just put on lowest height, added a 6 inch mattress, and a bed rail, and it’s perfect! I certainly would not sit on this bed as a 250lb adult, the rails supporting the mattress are lightweight, hollow metal, and I wouldn’t want to chance them bending and/or breaking. BUT for a toddler or a kid? Perfect! We hope to get many years out of this bed.

I purchased this frame for my daughters farmhouse bedroom. It fits the look I was going for perfectly and fits the mattress as well. There are a few spots where you can see some welding mishaps but nothing that stands out or that isn’t covered by bedding.
My husband put this bed together rather quickly and we opted for the higher raised bed. I appreciated the option to have it higher or lower. It’s been setup for several months and she’s jumped all over it and it hasn’t loosened or made any squeaking noises. Still feels sturdy. She loves it, I love the look and price, very happy with this purchase. Would definitely again.

*It can happen to you!!*
I bought this bed knowing some of the reviews said the box came without necessary parts. I thought “surely this won’t happen to me.” But, alas, it did. I unboxed everything and was missing the bolts to put the bed together. Thankfully, this was on a Sunday afternoon where I had time for my anger to subside before calling company on Monday morning. I called the 1-800 number, was not given any sort of apology, and was told it would take 4-7 days for me to get the parts. Whatever. I can be patient. The bolts came via UPS 4 days later, loose in a bag, without any sort of labels.
Once I was able to identify and separate the bolts, putting together the bed was a breeze. Took me maybe 45 minutes. I was also missing the pieces that go on the bottom of the bed posts to keep from scratching the floors, but the bed is on carpet, so I can do without them.
I can’t speak for the longevity of the bed, but after a few days, we love the bed. It’s very sturdy and perfect for my 3 year old.

Very durable. We bought one for our 3 year old and loved it so much we bought one 2 years later for his little brother when he turned 3. My husband is able to put them together by himself fairly quickly.

I had been debating between buying my 2 year old a twin size bed or a Montessori floor bed since she’s still so small. Reasons why I ended up going forward with the twin was for versatility and longevity. I’m hoping this can be her one and only bed that will bring her through elementary-high school (perhaps even beyond, haha).
Since transitioning my almost 2.5 yr old into this bed, I’ve been so happy with my purchase. Here are my main reasons:
1- ADJUSTABLE HEIGHT. You can install this bed at 2 heights! 6 in & 11 in. 6 inches is absolutely perfect for a toddler! I was so worried about my little girl needing to climb up and down a tall bed. She has been in a crib all her life up until now (no transition to toddler bed), so I was afraid of the height and her rolling off and getting hurt from the fall. We have not had any problems whatsoever with the height and that has been the biggest relief.
2- DOESN’T SQUEAK AKA STURDY. Not sure why, but my husband’s fear of metal beds was how loud they would get, especially if you have children jumping on top of it incessantly. This bed couldn’t be sturdier. The way you install the metal slats is bar by bar and each one is tightly secured with an extra plastic retainer on each end to make sure it locks in place.
3- TIMELESS. I can see us keeping this bed in the house for many many years just because of its style and versatility. If not a child’s bed, this can easily be moved into a guest bedroom. I purchased this bed for the same price as my daughter’s crib when she was born, but I know I’ll get wayyyy more years out of this without having to break the bank buying a fancy convertible crib/toddler/big bed or having to buy 3 separate types of beds.
Extremely happy with this bed, would definitely recommend it to anyone, especially parents who are looking for a one stop shop solution for your young child.

We originally bought one of these from Walmart 3 years ago for my oldest daughter. Once my youngest needed a bed we went looking but they were sold out on the Walmart Website. Lucky for us Amazon still had it in stock (we bought a twin bed in white). It’s a great bed for little ones. I will say it’s not the most sturdy bed out there so if you have kids that rough house to the extreme or you need a bed for an adult, keep looking. Our girls jump and bounce and the bed does require a periodical tightening every so often of the bolts. It’s never collapsed on us. As for a mattress, we have the Classic Brands Mercer 12 in. Hybrid Cool Gel Memory Foam and Innerspring Mattress on it. It fits perfectly.

Great bed for my toddler, easy to assemble

I bought this bed for my three year old to transition her out of her crib. I like that it has two mattress height options so that my faith can get in and out of bed easily and I don’t have to worry about her falling our of bed. It’s nice looking and assembles easily. My one issue is that the weight capacity is only 225lbs. The mattress we purchased is standard at 50lbs and my daughter weighs 30lbs. That only leaves 145lbs of capacity left and since many adults weigh more than that, they can’t lay in the bed to read a night time story and whatnot. That was the case for us so I’m pretty disappointed hence the three stars.
