Shabby Chic –
My Aunt lives in an assisted living facility, and she has a lot of stuff. We were trying to figure out how to make her apartment more efficient. This bed is perfect for the storage problem. Every inch of space is utilized. The bed itself is robust and is easy to put together. I wish they had better framing. (The bed frame shows bolts which I don’t care for) This bed does hold a lot of stuff Aunty needs and works great for our situation.

This queen bed features a padded headboard and a hydraulic lift that reveals under storage easily The frame supports heavy weight and feels stable even when you drop into bed The upholstered headboard is soft and adds a cozy modern look It needs no box spring and the slats give firm mattress support The lift motion is smooth and holds open securely

Amazing bed. Great for small spaces. It easy really easy to put together. I did it all on my own. Great way to store stuff and not have everything out in the open. Sleek and appealing. Very natural. Easy to lift and put down the bed. Great for guest rooms.

VASAGLE’s hydraulic storage bed maximizes space utilization. The bed frame is sturdy and can bear a maximum load of 1,100 pounds. The mattress can be directly laid without an additional bed board, which saves costs and is more worry-free. The damping of the hydraulic lifting system is well adjusted. The bed board can be lifted with a single hand push. The storage space is very sufficient, suitable for seasonal clothing, bedding or unused suitcases. The soft-padded headboard is also very comfortable to lean on. The appearance is modern and simple. The cappuccino color is low-key and soft, which is suitable for most bedroom styles.
However, the reason for deducting one star is mainly two minor problems: first, the installation instructions are a bit simple, and the first assembly requires a little hands-on ability and patience; second, the hydraulic rod is a bit tight at the beginning, and the first few lifts are not smooth.

Okay…. where to begin. The first few steps were some of the smoothest directions I’ve seen in a bit, meaning you can actually understand them. Then, you put all the pieces together, and the holes on one side are drilled at the wrong level. Thought maybe I did something wrong, although I knew I did not, I did go back and go over everything. They are just not in the right place. So, I made my own, not ideal, but it worked. Make sure you have a ton of room, after the bed is put in place, you have to build the frame that lifts, so it’s almost as large as the bed. During that process, the part you have to attach the hydraulic parts, the instructions have them backwards, like clearly backwards, as as soon as you see it, you know it’s wrong. So, it is together, but what a pain. The storage is nice, it does take a good amount of weight to get the frame back down, but it works. I would say this is definitely not for a kid, pinch points alone, but it rises really easy and could hurt during horse play. I know my brother and I would have messed with it. The build is pretty solid, but having to drill your own holes probably isn’t helping any. I would have to say, value wise, I’d go elsewhere, just because of how annoying and ridiculous the instructions got.
