My husband and I put this bed together. Every piece of this bed has to be assembled by the buyer. I guess we thought the headboard would come assembled, but we assumed wrong. I think It took us about 5 hrs. to get it done with very little breaks. The bed is not a true black, but it will do. Also, the footboard and headboard pieces don’t line up exactly as they should. Overall it’s a very sturdy frame and the directions are pretty clear, but there is no explanation, just pictures of the pieces and hardware. The picture shows our blackout curtains behind the headboard. Bed is not a true black. Hope this helps your decision on our purchase.

The material of this bed is super cheap. The return process has been a bit terrible. The company has not really communicated about my refund, I had to go through Amazon customer service to figure out if I am going to get a refund. They do not give you a return label, you have to buy and package it yourself.
Aside from that, the material is super cheap. Screws split the wood several times, when they weren’t even screwed in tight. The set up process is not user friendly. I really liked how it looked online but when it was actually infront of me it looked cheap and was super short.

Bolts were loose and box was damaged so I was afraid some fell out but they were all there. Put the bed together and it is very nice!

This bed frame is of good quality and super cute, just as pictured. However, the instructions weren’t very clear and it took a lot longer to put together than it should have beings I had to figure it out.
