I purchased the twin XL and was going to return it unopened because we decided after the fact that we were going to keep what we had. In looking into the return, it would have been at my cost and to return it would cost me twice what I paid for it! So, we decided to gift this along with a mattress to my very tall son. He and I opened the box and tried to put it together. The very first pieces to put together according to the directions didn’t line up. The holes were WAY off! I am going to have to totally redrill holes just to put the thing together. Way too much work and not worth the money we paid.

Overall I’m going to give this a 4 star review for right now. We just got the assembly done so it hasn’t been lived in/slept in yet. First thing first assembly went smoothly overall and took between 30-45 minutes in total. We had a handyman help because if not it would have taken my husband MUCH longer to assemble by himself and with many tantrums. I will say the handyman was NOT a fan of the instructions because there was no color image and the instructions were vague with little detail.
Second the quality seems great for the price point. It will definitely serve its purpose for our 12 year old. He also really likes the fact that it has charging ports at the top. My only complaint so far about the frame itself is that it sets a little too low to the ground. I wish that it was taller because again I bought this for my 12 year old. So in theory he will get taller and may complain later on done the road that it is to short.
In summary it is a nice frame especially if you are looking for an xl twin frame. It is fairly basic for growing kids which is okay with us. It fits the limited space in the bedroom fantastically! I received the item undamaged and with all the parts. Yay win!

This bed was not hard to put together however there is a bed right next to this one that is pretty much the same and was even easier to assemble. This bed have way too many moving parts. They could have produced this bed frame in a much more simpler way. It does hold up good. Either way we got it up.
