We upgraded my son from the twin version of this bed to the full. We already had the trundle that goes under the twin, and it fits under this full size too. It took me probably 2-3 hours to put together mostly by myself, but I did solicit help from a second person to attach the side rails to the headboard because that was hard to do alone. It is sturdy and was fairly straightforward to put together. It has the 9 inch Little LuuF hybrid mattress on it (so you can tell how high up the mattress goes on the headboard).

got for the kid, very nice quality, very good seller. important, I ended up buying 12″ mattress, its too high for my toddler, should get right thickness for kid (I think its 4 or 6″ – bedsmart have the right thickness on their website). I compensated that with bed guard and the toddler can climb on it and get down)

The center metal bar bracket broke and fell off in two months. The bed had not even been used. The slabs are so far away from each others. It’s defective item, I can’t even return. The bed even came with a few stains on the paint, can’t be removed. The paint is very thin, you can see the wood pattern on it. Don’t buy this bed. Go to ikea, better quality relatively and similar design.

Overall Impressions:
We are really impressed with this bed. We purchased the twin size for my 2 year old that is being forced to vacate his convertible crib due to a sibling’s imminent arrival. The selling point for us was the weight limit and materials used in construction, no fiberboard/mdf type pressed wood, it is made out of natural wood (pine, I think). The listing stated it has a weight limit of 400 lbs, resting weight. We have come pretty close to that between my 6’3″ 250lbs self and my pregnant wife along with our little one all sitting on the bed a few times, and there has been no sounds of protest from the solid frame.
Packaging:
I was so impressed with how the bed was packaged for shipment, that I had to take a picture and include it in my review. Each wooden piece was individually packed with a foamy wrap that kept the finish perfect. All the hardware was included, and some extra screws were added, for the small wood screws.
Assembly/Bed Design:
The assembly process was very straight forward, with no surprises for the user. Instructions were easy to follow, if you can assemble an Ikea shelf, you can easily put this together. The design is well thought out to be easy to assemble, yet sturdy. I always advocate for the use of power tools, although they included the required Hex wrenches in the hardware kit. If you use your own tools, you will need metric Hex bits, FYI. There is voluminous storage underneath the bed, or it can be left as a convenient cave for ambitious little explorers.
All in all, this was a fantastic purchase.

This bed frame is solid, and was pretty easy to put together. My child loves his big boy bed and I love the color. The wood is nice and smooth and the paint seems to be decent as my kid has hit it a few times with various objects and there are no marks yet.

Perfect for the baby up and Down to the bed

Really nice and low to floor for my 2yr old. The foam mattress purchased does fill the bed frame. There are gaps. My son loves this bed!

These beds are great value for money. I was very happy with the quality of them and how easy they were to assemble. The delivery time was very good also. If your looking for kids beds look no further, you will not be disappointed.

Wonderful bed! Light but great value for money. Not poorly made
Bobi –
Great twin bed for the price! Very pleased with the ease of putting the pieces together, since I am a grandmother!

My son wanted a gray bed and nightstand for his next step up from a twin. We looked at dozens of different beds, including several at the pricier home stores (PB, CB, WE, etc). His room is not that large so this is perfect in looking stylish without overtaking the space.
My specific requirements for the bed: 1) must have single piece of wood for the side rails – it’s a way to cheapen the product and I don’t like the look of the extra support legs under the bed; 2) must be good construction; and 3) come with enough slats to support the bed. This bed met those requirements and then some. It has a metal beam that attaches to the head/foot boards so it can accommodate a trundle, which we did not purchase. We also purchased the matching nightstand and are pleased with the construction, size and price. Amazon did a great job delivering it without a scratch.
One suggestion would be to add some wood glue to the vertical slats when you assemble the headboard. It’s fine without it, but in hindsight I would have gone the small extra step.

Really appreciate the solid wood construction along with a solid metal bar down the middle to provide extra support. The assembly was pretty straightforward and not too complicated. All the main parts are numbered with stickers and the stickers were placed where they would be mostly covered when fully assembled. I still took them off, but others might not feel the need to do so.
There are a few parts that need to be screwed together where there was not a pre drilled hole. The instructions don’t call for it, but I pre drilled to avoid any potential for cracking. You probably don’t need to, I just didn’t want to take a risk.
It took around 2.5-3 hours to assemble it on my own with the “help” of my kids (8, 6). Without help it probably would have been only a little bit faster.
After finishing it, I ( 210 pounds) sat on it and could feel the strength and stability difference from our old bed.
Yes it’s more expensive than other beds, but the durability of real wood (instead of MDF or particle board) as well as the metal bar down the middle give it a higher quality that I believe is well worth the cost. I am not worried that my kids will damage it so that I have to replace it in only a few years like I would fear with some of the other “cheaper” beds.
Overall I would recommend this bed.
