Heard about the need to re-tighten bolts down the road so I got some lock washers from hardware store to add during assembly. This bed is sturdy, mattress does not slide and no squeaks or creaks. Love this bed frame!

This is beautiful made with solid cherry wood I really like the packaging and guides me to assemble the bed frame also comes with Allen tool that I keep that for future job I also made headboard for this and now this is my lovely bed frame, thank you for great job highly recommend

I was absolutely Amazed by this product. Beats the hell out of Ikea, I’ll tell you that much. Much better quality materials, excellent instructions, and the value was unbelievable. Very satisfied with this purchase. The only piece I would mention is be careful towards the end of assembling, there is some sticky tape that is supposed to remain on the slats to hold your mattress in place. I misunderstood the directions and took the whole thing off, instead of peeling off the first layer. Other than that, very easy to assemble. Didn’t need two people to put it together, but of course it’s much faster if you have an extra person to help you. You definitely need a second person to help you lift the box and move it to where you need it to be assembled. It was almost too easy to put together.

Not bad for the price point. It was fairly easy to put together. I noticed some chips in the wood/paint. One of the main screws went in wonky and kind of messed one of the points of contact up but I think that was a user error. Comes with a handy ratchet and everything you’ll need. Feels pretty sturdy although I won’t be jumping up and down to test is as it doesn’t feel THAT sturdy. Will it last for years to come, no most likely not. But it will work for the mean time. The box was about 50lbs and heavy to get up my stairs for one person. All in all again for the price point not bad at all.

I don’t do a lot of reviews cause I’m too lazy. But I thought this was a good buy. It was packaged in two boxes….no damage. It took me a hour to assemble by myself. They provide a very helpful ratchet. Lay it out before you start. It’ll make it go faster. The video is helpful too. Overall, it is a very sturdy bedframe made of solid wood.
Update. I knocked off a star because I kept kicking oone is the center posts on the side of the frame.

We wanted a sturdy, reasonably priced, wooden bed-frame and this fit the bill.
It took me about an hour to assemble, the directions were easy to follow. I did most of it alone but had my daughter hold the vertical bar while I tightened the screws so the pieces stay aligned; I would definitely recommend this as the pieces kept falling when I tried to do that part alone.
One thing to note is there are 4 (or maybe it was 6) washers that are a different color than the other washers; use the bronze color washers to attach the wood legs to the wood crossbars, the dark washers are for the metal support bar. I don’t know if it matters but I assume there’s a slight difference or there would be no point in having different colors.
This frame is for our guest room so no one has slept on it yet but it feels very sturdy and doesn’t make any noise when I tried it out. We’re having company next week so if there’s a problem, I will update this review.

I assembled the ZINUS Ellie 14″ king bed frame yesterday. I would say that it is the best furniture kit that I have ever assembled. All the bolts were in a clearly labeled shrink wrapped enclosure. It also came with a spiffy little ratchet for assembly. The structure parts themselves were labeled by junction, and not the part itself, which has a lot of advantages. I did label the E and F parts so I didn’t get confused. I assembled the front and back separately upside down, which made it a lot easier. If you have a helper to flip the entire outer wooden frame, I would assemble the whole wooden frame upside down.
Everything lined up beautifully and it is rock solid. It is very well designed. I highly recommend it.

Surprisingly good! Sturdy, lots of wood, mostly easy to assemble. Only downside is that the ratcheting allen key failed halfway through. Much classier looking than a metal frame.
