before i bought this mattress i had one that was too soft so i got this one now its too hard med, firm i cant stand it my hips and butt ache really bad im like goldilocks and the 3 bears 1 bed too soft 1 bed 2 hard number 3 might be coming up the just right one i dont know im very disssapointed how do u send back a mattress that came in a box ? anybody got some suggestions ? please send them in PLEASE PLEASE VERY<VERY UNHAPPY MARY G from mt view, calif.

Just got the bed yesterday (12-4-24, writing this review on 12-5-24) and had my first night’s sleep. This bed is FIRM. Reading a few of the other reviews, I expected it to sink a little, but it’s kinda hard to see that happening because this thing is not soft or plush. Even when I first opened it, the thing popped out like a wound coil and was ready from the get go. In like an hour it was ready
Now, I’m used to sleeping on soft beds, and that’s led me to having back and neck soreness. This bed has, so far, gotten rid of it. It does and will take time to get used to if you’re used to more cushion in your bed. I tossed and turned on this one because I’m not used to having a firm mattress that actually corrects my posture. Might change my review later since it’s only been a day, but who knows. Each mattress is different as each human is different and will have different experiences. Personally, I like it so far.
If firm is what you want, and I mean FIRM, this bed is for you. If not, look for a different one.

I’m going to be honest, I got this mattress because it was the cheapest of the style with over four star reviews. I got this for insanely cheap as there was a coupon running at the time of purchase, and I could not be any more pleased with it. I weigh 220 lbs and it does seem slightly softer than advertised but that could be my weight. It is still firm and has incredible support. My wife seems to like it as well and I cannot be any happier. Even if this matches last half as long as the warranty time frame, for the price that’s still worth it to me. One of my few five star reviews. Personally for me I won’t knock a star off, but even after 72 hours one corner didn’t fully expand, but I don’t sleep on the foot of the bed so it doesn’t bother me at all. I’m not worried about it cuz it could just be the material might be a little loose in that corner. A+ mattress for me.

I am over 300lbs at the moment, so a mattress is a difficult purchase for me. I studied that the best option would be a hybrid mattress with reinforced sides and motion control. This fit, so I decided to try it even though I was skeptical an inexpensive box mattress would have the quality I wanted. Y’all. Stop spending thousands of dollars and buy this right now. It’s the perfect blend of cloud and support. I have major restless legs but the way this fits to my body while supporting me in the right spots, allows me to actually wake up in the same position I went to bed. It is already helping with pain relief. That’s a huge deal. I also did the bounce test where I bounced one one side to see if it would knock my water bottle over and it did not! Pretty cool. Also so quiet! My last mattress was a classic spring and SO loud. I love this thing. My mom tried it and wants one too. Buy it!!
Also, I waited the full 72 hours and I think it was worth it. I did not notice any smell either.
Update from a year later! Still loving this mattress! I rotate every 3 months and it’s held up great! Highly recommend!! Buying another as a guest bed.

Not too soft, I’ve been getting some of the best sleep of my life on this thing. Then again I haven’t been treating myself the best when it comes to mattresses, but I really enjoy going to sleep on this thing.

I don’t spend money on anything unless I’ve spent enough time researching, reading reviews, and making sure that my purchase is a good idea. I settled on this particular mattress, despite being new to the fracas, as it was part of the “Black Friday deals”, and the price was so low for a mattress with such high marks.
I purchased the king, 12”, Med firm option, and followed the instructions, upon receipt . I’m laying on it now, writing this review. I’m not gonna lie; I really didn’t expect it to be quite as good as the Sealy my fiancé recently purchased from Sam’s, for nearly $700. Surprisingly, it is just as good, maybe better!
It has excellent edge support, a firm feel, weighs 115lbs, and the “pillow top” is soft and silky smooth. For the record, I’m a middle aged man, 5’10”, 203lbs, with numerous back injuries. My fiancé is 5’8”, 155lbs, and tosses around in bed all night long! My old mattress was literally a nightmare to share…this one, a comparative dream! I will update this if anything changes.
Update: 12-18-23. Sharing this bed with a loud and mobile sleeper is the least bad it’s been!😂. The mattress continues to impress, and I’m ordering another, now, for my soon to be stepdaughter. It’s a great mattress for any price point, seriously, it’s that good. My fiancé actually complained about her $700 Serta, saying the Avenco is significantly better! Merry Christmas to all!

So far so good. This mattress arrived on time, and unfolded very easily. Had almost no smell. Waited almost 3 full days before sleeping on it. I am pretty impressed so far; it is very comfy. I like the firmness. For comparison I went with the california king hybrid (it does have actual coil springs in this mattress). I’d put the firmness at about firm to medium firm. I’ve been sleeping very well for the last several nights. Even my girlfriend likes it! And she just bought a 700 dollar name brand mattress for her place. This one was far less costly, and still feels as good as hers! I’ll update if there are any issues.
