I felt compelled to write this review for the sheer joy it has brought to me and my mom this week. She’s in hospital right now following surgery and it’s not been an easy recovery. I’ve been able to sleep over in her room thanks to this mattress.
First important note: it is super flat when first unrolled. Let it sit out unfolded for at least a few hours to let it bounce back. After it’s fully “inflated” it’s surprisingly cozy.
The bag stinks at first too. Definitely let it air out (inside and out) before you put anything in there or it WILL smell too.
NOT FOR PEOPLE WITH BACK OR NECK PROBLEMS IF YOU ARE SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR DIRECTLY. I got used to it after a few nights and I now find it extremely comfortable.
It does not come with a sheet so make sure you get one that fits your chosen size.
Carrying this thing in the carry bag felt like lugging a dead body around (and I got a few weird looks). But it is FAR better and less awkward of a carry than fumbling around with a memory foam mattress outside a bag.
It does exactly as promised and I really couldn’t be happier.

No smell noted. Works fine for visitors; this size used by 11 year old. Placed it on a metal frame. Store it under our bed. Folds up easily. Nice to have carry bag. Reasonable price.

This is probably 4.5 stars but I’ll round up. I originally ordered a 6 inch trifold from a different seller but the delivery was delayed and I needed a sleeping mat ASAP. So I had to go back to square one with my search, and I found this mat that was able to ship quickly. 5/5 for quick, on time shipping
We received in the afternoon and opened it to expand/air out. Within a few hours, it had expanded significantly, and we slept it on later that night. The full size is a good size without being too large when folded up. It’s surprisingly comfortable, even with two adults sleeping on it. Neither of us woke with back aches. I’d say because of its thinness, it’s a little firmer than I’d prefer at only 4 inches. But it doesn’t feel like you’re sleeping on a hard floor either – and it’s better than an air mattress for sleeping two people who are different sizes. I’m typically a back sleeper but found it more comfortable to sleep on my side on this mat.
It’s a nice compact solution if you need the space. I also like that it came with a storage bag. I didn’t notice any strong or noxious smell upon opening.
I can’t speak to longevity since we only just received it but we will be traveling more this summer and see how it holds up.

Modified this for the car, travel camping, and worked like a charm.. Modified via cutting it to fit inside the car w seats down, creating a traveling sleeping quarters..

I was, at first, a bit hesitant when I ordered this, worried that it wouldn’t be very comfortable to sleep on, on the floor. I was surprised that despite the seemingly thin thickness, this was really comfortable after all! My daughter came to visit for a few days, and she’s pretty tall, so I slept on this while she slept on my bed. I have fibromyalgia issues, so it’s hard for me to find something that I can comfortably sleep on, even if only for one night without feeling horrible the next day. My sleep quality was great; it felt like I was sleeping not on the floor, but on an actual bed. The overall design is well done, the quality is perfect, and the size for what I paid for is incredible. I love that it came with a storage bag for when we don’t have guests, we can easily fold it up and put it into the bag, zip it closed, and stash it into the closet. It’s easy to take out and lay flat, and when it comes time to put it away, it folds easily, goes into the bag, and the zipper doesn’t catch on anything. There was no weird smell as can sometimes happen when ordering a “bed-in-a-box’, which is great for sensitive noses. It’s affordable, and perfect for when you have an overnight guest!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
I purchased this to pair with an Amazon (https://amzn.to/4egOsmG) metal full sized base, creating a bed in my office for guests. I originally was going to go with a twin as my “guest” (my daughter) was travelling alone, but I thought long term I’d get more use out of a full size bed but I wanted to go as compact as possible for storage.
After much research, I found this mattress which combines a memory foam topper on a foam mattress with a bamboo cover. It says it’s soft, but it was actually reasonably firm, especially on the metal folding frame. I topped it with a fairly plush mattress pad, then linen sheets and down bedding. My daughter said she felt pretty pampered overall! A great long term solution for an extra sleeping space.
