I rarely write a review, but I feel strongly about warning others off of this mattress. I have had it now for 5 days, and it still SMELLS very strongly of chemicals off gassing from the foam. I even removed the cover to try to speed up the process, even though they don’t provide a zipper tab to make this easy. Despite that, the smell is still as strong as the day I opened it up. You simply can’t lay on it without having the odours waft up and make your skin, pj’s and sheets wreak of toxins. The polyester cover is also disappointing; it is supposed to be OEKO-TEX 100 approved, but there is no attached label to confirm this, and it too feels like an unhealthy material The unfortunate thing is that otherwise it is seems to be comfortable, but I can’t subject myself to sleeping on it and have spoken to Amazon regarding a refund. I do not recommend this mattress, and most certainly not for a child or immune compromised individual.

Nice mattress sets up easily on thing is all of the sheets we buy that say they fit a 12 or bigger tend to pop off, could be an issue with the sheets, not sure.

For the past three years I’ve been having to travel out of state to sort, clean, and prepare my Parents’ estate for auction. I probably have another year to go. During this time I’ve been staying at my Brother’s house in his office. I’ve gone through three air mattresses, and two cots; I’m so tired of my sleep system failing and waking up with a sore back. Time to get a real bed. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy. just something that would provide adequate comfort and support to get me through the next year or so. I decided to try this ZINUS mattress. I was afraid to go too thin since I was using a frame that touted it didn’t require a box-spring. so I ordered the 10 inch version. Turns out this mattress is dense enough I could have gone thinner. The 10 incher sits pretty high, compared to what I’d become accustomed to. Not a bad thing, just took a bit of adapting on my part.
As claimed, it arrived in a tall, narrow box. Once freed from its bag, the mattress unfurled and took shape almost immediately. Within minutes it had fluffed out to its full form and was ready for use. The memory foam is pretty firm. I’ve got a pillow-top mattress at home, so this is a very dramatic departure from that. It’s also a very positive departure from needing to sleep on a slowly deflating air mattress or a sagging cot. I’ve opted to use a foam camping pad to sort of even things out for me, and that’s worked out amazingly. Although after a couple weeks of use the mattress softened up enough that I could use it without the camping pad and find it to be rather comfortable. It offers great support, is completely silent, it looks nice, and I feel it’s a terrific value for what it is.
If you’re already acquainted with firmness of memory foam, then you’re all set; you should be perfectly happy with this mattress. If you’re not, then you may not be as content, or will need some time to adjust to it. Thanks to my camping pad idea, I’ve been quite pleased with it. I’d say this is the perfect bed for a guest room, or for a situation where you’re just starting out on your own, or starting over. For the cost of a couple air mattresses, this will last a whole lot longer, offer way more support, and require a lot less maintenance and cleaning, and is far less likely to fail on you.

This is a hard mattress. I’m not sure if I should have gotten a 12” or what? I got a 10. It’s got no give. Really none. My husband and I agree to that. If you like a firm mattress definitely get a 10”. I like the new packaging and this brand though. lol.

Stayed at an Air BNB that had this exact same mattress. Was the best sleep I had had in a long time. Loved it so much that I purchased the exact mattress for use at home. Highly please! Delivery was quick. I will say, the box is quite HEAVY! I had to utilize my 19 year old’s gym induced muscles for assistance. 😂 If you are looking for a great supportive, comfortable, and affordable replacement for that worn out mattress this is the one!

We needed a twin mattress for a trundle bed-and this exceeds my expectations! It’s just as described, comfortable and thick. When it was “fluffing up” I had it on the floor and there was still plenty of support. If you’re looking for an affordable mattress that still functions well, I would get this!

I was nervous to purchase this mattress because of the number of reviews where buyers said that the mattress never fully expanded. This was purchased for a day bed that is used for guests (and my dog when I am not having guests). I suppose mine has never “fully expanded” either, technically. It is slightly thinner on the very ends (see photo) and the mattress was labelled as a 12″, but measuring top to bottom right now lands somewhere between 10″-11″. If this would be a dealbreaker for you, then don’t get it I guess. But none of this bothers me. Is the mattress expanded enough to sit and sleep on? Yes. It is comfortable? YES. It is actually more comfortable than the mattress that’s on my bed right now. I’ve had two guests sleep multiple nights on this mattress since purchasing it and they both got a good nights sleep and said it was very comfortable. I’ve also slept on it overnight a couple of times and had a few naps on it and I sleep well too. So for the price tag, I can’t rate this lower than 5 stars personally. One of the better purchases I’ve made this year. (I’ve had this mattress for just over two months at the time of writing this review.)

I first experienced this mattress while staying at a friend’s house, and after just one night, I knew I had to get one for myself. It was incredibly comfortable—just the right balance of support and softness—and I woke up feeling rested and refreshed.
When I bought it for my guest bedroom, I was impressed all over again. There was no chemical smell upon opening (a rare bonus with boxed mattresses), and it fully expanded quickly. The comfort factor was exactly what I remembered.
I feel confident knowing my guests will enjoy a great night’s sleep when they visit. This mattress is a fantastic value for the quality it delivers.

We purchased this for a spare bed in our play room. It’s the perfect size. It is such comfortable memory foam and while it is a little on the far side, your body sinks right into it and it has perfect support . We were a little concerned about the smell because of other products, but it had zero odor. Our kids love sleeping on it , it is very comfortable and cozy. We started upright in a closet and tucked it away for the next sleepover. We have not had to clean it yet, but it has a nice removable cover for easy cleaning.

Bought this for my daughter’s room and she loves it! Delivery was quick and it puffed right up as soon as we took it out of the package. I noticed some reviews said they had issues with theirs not puffing up right, but we didn’t experience this issue at all. Love that it’s made with safer materials too!

This bed is maybe too good for the price. When I first got it I was skeptical. I knew I had to unwrap it, and let it “air up”. It only took a few hours, and it was firm, all throughout, though not hard, as to stiffen my back. The first night I decided to nap on it I knocked out. It’s literally dangerous, as you can’t safely nap on it, you just pass out, and wake up in the morning. Very surprised as to the comfort level. Much better than any motel mattress I’ve slept on.
